Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Last updated August 2026

This is a stand-alone policy required by Washington's My Health My Data Act (MHMDA), separate from our Privacy Policy. It covers only what MHMDA requires: the consumer health data we collect, why, where it comes from, who it's shared with, and how to exercise your rights over it.

Categories of consumer health data we collect

Purpose for collecting each category

Categories of sources

All consumer health data comes directly from you or another member of your household, entered manually into the app, including when entry is assisted by the prescription-scan feature, where you still review and confirm every field yourself before it's saved. FamilyDose does not obtain consumer health data about you from any other source: no data brokers, no health information exchanges, no purchased or licensed lists.

Categories of consumer health data we share

None, beyond what's necessary to deliver the app itself through the infrastructure providers named below. FamilyDose does not sell consumer health data, and does not share it for advertising, marketing, or any purpose other than providing the service you signed up for.

Third parties and affiliates with access

Your rights and how to exercise them

As a Washington consumer, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@familydose.app, or delete your account and its data directly in the app under Settings, which is immediate. For any other request, we will respond within 30 days, faster than MHMDA's own 45-day requirement.
